Specific dates, firsthand observations and a fair account are more useful than a perfect score or an angry headline.
Explain your relationship to the place
Say whether you lived there, viewed a unit or had another direct experience, and roughly when it happened. Do not imply you were a tenant if you only attended a viewing. Conditions change, so an approximate month or season helps readers interpret the account.
Describe the particular building or unit where relevant without exposing a private flat number, another person’s address or personal contact details.
Replace labels with observations
“Everything was terrible” gives the next renter little to investigate. “During my stay, the lift was unavailable on three evenings in September” gives a specific issue and time period. Only include counts and dates you can reasonably support; do not invent precision.
Separate what you observed from what you were told. You can write “I could not confirm the cooking-fuel arrangement during my viewing” without accusing someone of dishonesty.
- Explain what worked as well as what did not when both are relevant.
- Describe how a reported problem was handled and whether it was resolved.
- Keep names, identity numbers, phone numbers, receipts and private messages out of public images.
- Avoid threats, slurs, advertising, hearsay and accusations you cannot substantiate.
Keep evidence private and appropriate
If moderation asks for supporting information, use the designated private channel and share only what is necessary. Redact unrelated people and sensitive information. Do not put identity or payment documents in a public review to prove your point.
You should never have to buy a plan or give a positive rating in exchange for being heard. Report pressure to change a rating or a suspected conflict of interest through the contact page.
After you submit
Reviews may be held for moderation, published, rejected or investigated following a report. A moderation decision addresses platform policy; it is not a court finding about a rental dispute. Owners can respond where the feature is available, and replies must follow the same standards.
If circumstances change, explain the new information clearly. For a correction or appeal, send the review link and the specific point you want checked. Do not submit repeated copies of the same review.
